The cooperative
2,000 hectares of salt marshes stretch out beneath the medieval village of Guérande, Gwenn-Rann in Breton (white land).
For over 1,000 years, they have been shaped by man to produce salt, using only the tools offered by their environment: clay, sea, sun and wind.
